here are many pictures from a wide span of time. it is hard to place them all, but i wanted to put them up here. they are pretty much just a jumbled mess. sorry.

we visited Norway's parliament building. parliament in Norway is called Stortinger, or Big Things. the building itself is called Stortinget, or The Big Thing.
a new statue put up the day before we arrived of the king's mother, Martha Louise who died very young. the king cried at the ceremony.

my carnival "costume". i couldn't think of anything to be, so i just put on a bunch of Mardi Gras beads, a mask, and orange tights.
